Monty's began in 1996 in my Portland Maine Home as an

all-natural Barbecue Sauce, exclusively for family and friends.  

It was not until 2015, that Monty's became what it is today.  

 

A friend gave the Sauce a try providing the following feedback:

"Ever consider making more of a hot sauce base and adding more heat? The Flavor is Wonderful, I just prefer Hot Sauce over BBQ Sauce"

Well, that weekend I created my first batch of Hot Sauce, handing out to Family, Friends and Co-Workers.  The reviews were great, but I knew every one of the testers - time to find some unknowns. The positive reviews continued.

With the help of a Friend, Hot Living LLC was established in Late 2015, with the original recipe for

Monty's Batch No. 1.
